I have had both eyes done. One laser assisted and the second old school. The best thing I have ever done to help my quality of life. It actually was enjoyable except the IV in hand. Second time I said you get one shot at the hand then it’s going in the arm. Nurse had to check with Dr. but he didn’t care. Scary concept but great results.

I think childhood glaucoma needs a lot of attention because I think it's mainly as a old person's disease but children could get this. I got glaucoma when I was 9 years old from a complication of my cataract surgery as a baby. I've been on eye drops for 19 years to treat my pressure and been to the eye doctor many times. So I would like to spread Awareness on glaucoma in children and how important it is for children to get their eyes checked for the the sneak thief of eyesight.

I was diagnosed at 51 years so this idea of elderly people only getting glacoma is not reality. Get your eyes checked every year for life!

Obviously I was not one of the patients that made this statement....still have halos and stars at night and it seems that you and your office don't really care...
